Takashi, the main bloke in that movie should have his own movie. Stallone’s bodyguard, and got put away for armed robbery stealing a Rembrandt painting. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Hannon

Dune Part 2 is so good.
It leaves all that landfill Superhero stuff in the dust.
Saw it at my local IMax screen and it blew me away.

Cheers Sold, sounds what I need on a Sunday night, I will stick it on now.

I was watching the BAFTAs for some ideas. It seems to have become the Black Actors awards

Know Goes Away - As said a nice little film, keeps your attention throughout. Never got into Keaton, but enjoyed him in this.

Only watched Dune the other day and thought it was alright. In a good way.

For reference I've never read the book and attempted to watch the old version twice and fell asleep both times.

Looking forward to part 2.

Many, Knox Goes Away is a decent 'little film' if you can get over the huge coincidence that just as he's told about the aggressive disease that will wipe his brain within weeks his estranged son turns up on his doorstep having killed someone.

Sleeping Dogs - Never realised it was basically a whodunnit, and had a whiff of a TV movie about it, but overall I thought it was pretty good and an entertaining, well paced yarn.

Anyone seen Knox Goes Away, with Pacino and Keaton?

Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
Swiss, did you learn at your incredibly impressive 'study at the BFI' that you should always critique a film 'saw blah blah blah last night and it was blah blah blah even though one of the actors was the gorgeous *good looking bint of the day*?

Maybe you should go back to the BFI and enroll on their adult course?

The Fall Guy is truly shit even with the gorgeous Emily Blunt.

Loves Lies Bleeding. It's like Thelma and Louise on acid.

For me, Rose Glass is the most exciting director since Tarantino's early work.

Land of Bad is a decent watch, albeit a good twenty five minutes too long, though I'll await Swiss' opinion before I recommend it to anyone in my friendship circle, as I would hate to appear culturally naive.

Not a movie but I didn't want to start a new thread on it.

Masters of the air is incredible and I highly recommend. If you liked Band of Brothers you'll like this.
